Business admin support
that gives you back your time
Move back to the work you do best
Running a business or working within a board often means that as responsibilities grow, so does the admin. When admin is competing with client work, decision-making, or delivery, it becomes harder to move forward.
That’s where business admin support makes a difference. Working with me takes the pressure off and keeps things moving, so you can focus and the work that matters doesn’t keep getting pushed aside.
Meet Zoe Shepherd
Head Fox
I support not-for-profits and small businesses with admin and bookkeeping, alongside managing the admin and books of my husband’s tradie business. I’m trusted with finances, payroll, board reporting, audits, confidential matters, event coordination, and representing organisations through written and public-facing channels.
My background spans structured environments and hands-on admin roles. I spent a decade in technical and admin support within tertiary education, followed by four years working in a school office and as a board secretary.
I work independently, take initiative, and know where my lane is - getting on with the work while bringing things back when decisions are needed. I get huge satisfaction from seeing clients achieve better outcomes because the admin work behind the scenes is handled properly.
When I’m not working, I’m enjoying our Kiwi backyard. I like finding new trails to tramp, rivers to swim in, or beaches to get my toes sandy. I'm a big reader, I drink nearly anything with mint and lime and I love laughing with my family.

Exceeded our expectations, an asset to our community hub
Zoe's super power is her initiative, being able to take an idea and build upon it without needing oversight. She's always responsive to any problems, has great ideas and is very proactive.
Tara Carter, Treasureer, Hauraki Plains Community Hub
A game changer
We’ve seen a huge shift — from having no real online presence, no consistent posting, and zero engagement, to now having active social platforms, strong engagement, and increased customer flow. As someone who isn’t naturally comfortable with technology or social media, I felt completely supported every step of the way.
Lili Vivian, Willow Gifts & Lifestyle Boutique
A constant source of support
Zoe played a key role in improving our school systems and how our board meetings were run. She strengthened our agendas, minute taking, and communication with the school community.

Support you can trust
When you outsource admin and bookkeeping, you need confidence it's being handled properly and with care. That comes from experience, ,training and a commitment to doing things right, not just ticking boxes.
My work is backed by bookkeeping training, professional membership within the virtual assistant industry, and ongoing development through mentoring and upskilling. This means your admin and accounts are handled accurately, thoughtfully, and with a clear understanding of how small businesses and not-for-profits actually operate.
I also understand the day-to-day reality of running a small business, I support my husbands tradie operations and our short term accommodation, managing the books and communications. That experience helps me offer support that’s practical, realistic, and focused on what actually makes a difference.
As a Silver Member of the Virtual Assistant Network of New Zealand (VANNZ), my services are reference-checked and aligned with recognised professional standards, giving you added reassurance around quality, security, and accountability.
